Within the span of a hundred years, in the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, a tide of emigration—one of the great folk wanderings of history—swept from Europe to America. (46) This movement, driven by powerful and diverse motivations, built a nation out of a wilderness and, by its nature, shaped the character and destiny of an uncharted continent.

(47) The United States is the product of two principal forces—the immigration of European peoples with their varied ideas, customs, and national characteristics and the impact of a new country which modified these traits. Of necessity, colonial America was a projection of Europe. Across the Atlantic came successive groups of Englishmen, Frenchmen, Germans, Scots, Irishmen,

Dutchmen, Swedes, and many others who attempted to transplant their habits and traditions to the new world. (48) But the force of geographic conditions peculiar to America, the interplay of the varied national groups upon one another, and the sheer difficult of maintaining old-world ways in a raw, new continent caused significant changes. These changes were gradual and at first scarcely visible. But the result was a new social pattern which, although it resembled European society in many ways, had a character that was distinctly American.

(49) The first shiploads of immigrants bound for the territory which is now the United States crossed the Atlantic more than a hundred years after the 15th-and-16th-century explorations of North America. In the meantime, thriving Spanish colonies had been established in Mexico, the West Indies, and South America. These travelers to North America came in small, unmercifully overcrowded craft. During their six- to twelve-week voyage, they survived on barely enough food allotted to them. Many of the ships were lost in storms, many passengers died of disease, and infants rarely survived the journey. Sometimes storms blew the vessels far off their course, and    often calm brought unbearably long delay.

To the anxious travelers the sight of the American shore brought almost inexpressible relief. Said one recorder of  events, “The air at  twelve leagues’ distance smelt as  sweet as  a new-blown garden.” The colonists’ first glimpse of the new land was a sight of dense woods. (50) The virgin forest with its richness and variety of trees was a real treasure-house which extended from Maine all the way down to Georgia. Here was abundant fuel and lumber. Here was the raw material of houses and furniture, ships and potash, dyes and naval stores.

【案例一】

   某市政公司中标承建排污干管工程，长度3.4km，内径800～1000mm，采用胶圈接口钢筋混凝土管。施工项目部在施工组织设计获批准后即组织施工，依据合同工期要求，施工流程与进度计划如图1所示（单位：天）。在开槽2施工过程中，发现一个勘察报告未提及的废弃地下构筑物，在监理旁站情况下项目部组织人力机械进行清除作业；同时在另一段进行开槽2施工。清除废弃构筑物用了一台挖土机，两个作业组，用时15天；施工项目部为此提出索赔，但被计量工程师质疑。为了抢时间，采用推土机回填土作业，压实度抽查有不合格记录。

【背景资料】某施工单位承担一矿井采区巷道的施工任务，建设单位要求的工期为15个月， 施工单位根据矿井采区巷道的关系，编制了采区巷道施工网络进度计划，并组 织安排了四个施工队伍进行施工，各施工队伍的施工内容分别为：甲队A、C、J;乙队B、G、K;丙队D、H; 丁队E。
监理单位在审查施工单位进度计划时发现其施工单位安排不合理，建议只安排3 个施工队伍，将丁队的施工任务交由丙队去完成，施工单位通过研究，采纳了 监理的意见。
在工程实施过程中，乙队在进行G工程施工时，遇到了地质资料未注明的含水地层，工作面发生了突水事故，处理该事故延误工期2个月，增加施工成本50万 元，施工单位据此及时提交了相关的索赔申请。
在工程进行到第12个月末时检查发现，甲队施工进度超前，C工程已完成，且J 工程已经施工1个月；乙队因遇含水地层施工进度拖延，G工程刚完工，K工程 尚未开始；丙队施工进度正常。

【背景资料】

某施工单位承接了某隧道施工任务，该隧道为分离式双洞隧道，洞口间距50m。其中左线长3 996m,进口里程桩号为ZK13 +956;右线长4 013m,进口里程桩号为YK13+952。

根据地质勘察报告，YK14+020 ~YK16 +200段分布有冲刷煤屑、瓦斯包体和含水瓦斯包体，岩层节理及裂隙发育。其中，YK14 +850 ~YK14+900段穿越背斜组成的复式褶皱带，为挤压强烈、地应力相对集中地段。

开工当年10月5日，该隧道右洞采用全断面开挖至YK14 +872处，二衬距掌子面68m。

10月6日，监理单位发现YK14 +859 ~YK866段初期支护变形超限，立即书面通知施工单位停止掘进。10月13日，施工单位根据设计变更的要求对变形超限段进行了处理。10月20曰， YK14 +859 ~YK14 +863段发生塌方，至10月23日，塌方段在拱顶部位形成高2 ~ 3m,宽2~3m,长3~4m的塌腔。施工单位立即会同监理、设计和业主单位对塌方段进行了现场确认及变更立项，由设计单位出具了变更设计图。为防止类似的塌方事故，施工单位进一步加强了对未塌方段的塌方预测。

10月27日8时。在未对瓦斯浓度进行检测的情况下，34名工人进入洞内开展塌方段及未塌方段的处理作业，作业采用的台车上配备了普通配电箱和普通电源插座。10时起，由于风机出现故障，洞内停止通风。11时20分左右，右洞发生瓦斯爆炸，34名工人全部罹难。

事件 1，施工现场因道路、场地问题经常发生停工窝工，分包单位找安装公司解决，安装公司回复分包单位自行协商解决。
事件 2，厂区的主电缆未按时到场，拖延工期 5 天，分包单位找安装公司索赔窝工费用和要求工期顺延，安装公司认为不是自己造成的，让分包单位直接找业主协商。
事件 3，分包单位在炉窑的施工中，回转窑在筒体焊接后，由冷端（高端）开始进行砌筑，被安装公司项目部管理人员制止，要求改正。

A公司系A股上市公司，为开拓新一代智能光网络传输设备产业化项目进行定向增发，预计项目总投资额为1.5亿，本次募集的资金不得超过拟投入项目需要的总资金。另外由于战略发展的需求，A公司拟收购美国B公司的股权，收购比例预计为30%，但未达到实际控制。
